can anyone tell me in idiot's terms how to add a hyperlink to my logo in my email signature (i'm using entourage)?
i've got a very basic html signature, name, address, then inserted picture...
also i want my links (email address etc..) to be the colour i want them to be instead of blue (default).
can any of this be done without excessive coding?

Make your stationary in an HTML editor and then use tables to make the layout and use inline CSS to get all your styles intact and import your new stationary in entourage. Entourage has some problems with background images as they don't always come out grate.
If this is for your company make sure your stationary works in outlook and all the major email providers (hotmail, yahoo, gmail)

so basically there's no 'idiot's' way to do it, i need to know CSS?

its not that hard, many people dont do it the right way and there for making the stationay template look crap in all the email providers. I am not on a mac anymore but I do remember that there where some problems with entourage. I know that entourage has some premade ones, take one of them and just edit it?

another idea, if you want you can make your comapny name, address, numbers ect and image and then just use this code so that it becomes a link:
<a href="link here"><img src="image path here" width="500" height="80" border="0"/></a>Or an email link:
<a href="mailto:you@domainname.com"><img src="image path here" width="500" height="80" border="0"/></a>

Can't stand attached images in signatures.
Really fucks me off when I am searching for an email with an attachment and a load of random crap comes up first with logos in them
- me too, but boss needs me to put a 25 year anniversary sticker as a marketing thing onto emails. which is what i need this for...indian_pole
- need it for...indian_pole
- True but its the easiest way if you don't know CSS...PSYKHO

PSYKHO - i did that but doesnt seem to work, just the text code as it is comes up in the email. i have HTML activated.
any idea why?

where are your images hosted? You can upload the images to your domain and then call it from the stationary folder or you can just keep it with the HTML in the same folder.
Can you post your code?

<a href="http://www.teviot.co.uk"><img src="http://www.trustthedesigner.co.uk/t3.gif" width="500" height="100" border="0"/></a>

- indian_pole0

No, save this code as teviot25.html or what ever you want:
///////
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<title>Teviot</title>
<style type="text/css">
<!--
.style1 {
font-size: 12px;
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
color: #333333;
}
body {
margin-left: 20px;
margin-top: 20px;
margin-right: 20px;
margin-bottom: 20px;
}
-->
</style>
</head><body>
<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td height="40" valign="top"><span class="style1">text will go here...</span></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<a href="http://www.teviot.co.uk" ><img src="http://www.trustthedesigner.co.uk/t3.gif" width="500" height="100" border="0"/></a>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</body>
