top one reminds me of the Rogers logo: http://www.rogers.com

this is just a thought, but why not use one cohesive logo for all three and change the color to match the sub brand? Or will they never appear together?
To me there is too much difference in the way each mark feels if they are all supposed to represent the same company.
But then again, I don;t know nuthin' 'bout nuthin'

If your going to change the icons around you should keep the text consistently colored for one. and if your going to change the brands around like that I think your making a mistake to add an icon at all. I gets confusing.

That first hole looks relatively loose.

flashbender, they actually will never appear together. However they are supposed to represent a suite of apps we have. Kinda confusing. I wanted to keep them consistent but at the same time differentiate the products from each other in a way that wouldn't confuse people into thinking they were all the same.
GammaRay, I kinda figured that with the overall simplicity of the logos that they would be similar to other logos. Didn't think though that the first comment would point out that similarity! Hmm. Maybe I should think about using more unique logos.

#2 i think is the strongest

I don't like the 'r' running into the 't'. First icon has been done a hundred times over, the second two look like clip art/stock icons IMO.
- lol. Without that running together of the r and t it looked horrible in this typeface. General consensus, and something that I was afraid of, seems to be that the icons are too clip artish and have been used a gazillion times over. Thanks for the input!jamiller
- what I was afraid of, is that the icons are too clip-artish and have been used a billion times over.jamiller

Curious as to how these fit into the overall brand. The IHS site feels very dark and cold. The logos you've presented here are a bit softer and more welcoming...personally, I prefer the direction these comps take the overall brand of IHS...although you might want to look at how far out of brand they may be.

I think some kind of a seal would work nicely. That way you could use a subtle icon change within it for each of the different portals (patient, physician, etc).

No double L's?
- jamiller0
lol. Yeah, we did that on purpose. Two l's not only looks bad, but we couldn't trademark it. So we (by we I mean the president of IHS) decided to intentionally misspell it. Also, if you Google InteliChart you didn't, at the time, get any results other than misspellings of the word Intellichart. So that's the story behind that.

Can I say I'm not a huge fan of option 3?
Crosses, you understand.

colors on #1 seem good for health care. I like the icon too.
I also like the icon on #2
I don't like #3. Too much like Red Cross with the icon and the colors.

If these are going to be the final three, then I think there are a couple of small changes you can make that should help clarity of each.
Align the type from the outside of the t in 'chart'... it looks to be hanging at the moment, doesn't really seem to be sitting very well. I'm not a fan of red text in any logo, i think the red should be the accent colour not the dominant one.
The icons do look a little cliparty alright, each of them could really be developed a bit further to make them more unique and original.

I like the second one, but I think that the cross, or maybe even a caduceus, should be incorporated into it.

1 is good.
I agree that they should all be the same logo - different colors - also maybe different icons but the same swirly theme. they don't look like a family at all right now.
