as we speak the only hedge thread on the top of the board is this one.

tons of people still using IE 6, IE7 ........because it does actually work for them, or so they think ......it works for their experience. No one's going to just get up and change unless they are shown how firefox can do some things differently etc. check the stats on any site you're running ....huge IE traffic still.

The sooner IE dies, the better. But forcing people to have to download *anything* before viewing content or interacting with your site on the web is the usability kiss of death. Rule no. 1.
