Try not to get too dull as a parent.
Really though. I know you never tire of every cute thing it does - like dribble, piss all over you, have 12 various types of aromatic shit, but I really don't want to hear it over lunch or dinner. Not interested. One baby is pretty much like an another - for about 50 months or however you measure these things.

Congrats!!
I'm celebrating 1 month as a parent in two days. We both went on parental leave immediately, and it has given me massive respect for people who work during this time. There's no way in farking hell I would manage to get up every 30 minutes each night like we do now and work during the day ...

got a 2 month old and wow, is it crazy. i never realized just how little sleep you can function off of. i havent adjusted to it yet either - i'm scattered brained now.
other than that it's been amazing though.
