Hi guys. I have a client that wants to make sure that the images in a PDF I'm creating are "secure and can't be downloaded". Is there a way to do this from InDesign CS2? Thanks in advance

Don't suppose they've ever heard of a screenshot? Unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question though, sorry.

pointless - you could take a screen grab or open the pdf in photoshop

A watermark is the only option.

I know. That's the first thing that came to my mind but for some reason they have it in their minds that there is a way to secure them 100%. I'm just asking you guys to at least get some other opinions. I don't look like a douche bag and say it's impossible without even trying.

- No. Even everyone saying they don't know how to do it helps. At least I know I'm not an idiot or something.Glitterati_Duane

there is no way to 100% secure something viewed on a client machine... there is always some way to grab it. your best bet is to just eliminate the obvious ones.

don't give it to the client. Just show it to them.
