My wife and I are in Toronto on our honeymoon and I was wondering if anyone else were here and could suggest a few places to hangout? Nightlife, dining, general cool sh*t suggestions are all welcome. Send an email or just respond here with any suggestions.
Thanks beautiful QBN peoples...

Hey, you can head down to the distillery district during the day to hang out, there are some galleries and restaurants in an old warehouse district that's been redone. It's located on parliament south of King street, cabbies should know where it is: http://www.thedistillerydistrict…
Also hit Queen street west of Yonge about 4 or 5 blocks for some decent shopping, there is the Black Bull which has a good patio for people watching and a few pints, I wouldn't recommend eating unless you are very hungry. That area is also the Entertainment district if you are looking for clubs etc...

Toronto is a great city, but you went there for your honeymoon?
There is a great place on King Street, between Spadina and Portland called For Your Eyes Only... your wife will love it!

Take the ferry accross to toronto Island, awesome place to chill out or have a picnic. There are these wicked bed and breakfasts on the island too, you feel like you're in an enchanted little villiage from a fairy tale. There's also this awesome little cafe on the island, surrounded by trees and looking out into the lake.

go to yorkville if you like good nightlife and chi-chi dining.
it's expensive, but it's safe and full of people all the time. good cafes, restaurants and hot women.

you might want to try the drake an queen or the gladestone hotel just a bit further along queen st. west, plenty of resto's and galleries there, or check out http://www.blogto.com/ they have lists of top places to go see and eat, one of my fav's is salad king just north of dundas off of yonge don't let the name fool you, they serve excellent asian food, it's right across from the old sam the record man shop.

As corny as it sounds, Niagara Falls is a reasonably close drive away and worth checking out. The Maid of the Mist boat tour is cool. The area near the Falls has lots of wineries and you can ride a bike to many of them. I especially liked the Jackson Triggs winery which offers a tour.

or Keep driving east till you hit Montreal. Old Montreal is beautiful in summer.

Steamwhistle Brewery. At the base of the CN Tower. Good times, and good beers.

You might want to give CiRCA a try, it's down in the club district around Richmond and Spadina. The Royal Ontario Museum (the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal), shopping in Yorkville (Yonge and Bloor), lots of good restaurants on King West at Spadina...
Check the city blogs for other things going on too: Torontoist.com and blogto.com, they have event listings. NowToronto.com too.
You could also go to Prince Edward County. It's about 3 hours drive east, but it's really nice.

We're here until sunday. And we chose this place because i'm not big on island resorts, not a fan of language barriers and plus i'm generally a bad tourist as i prefer to feel at home more than a visitor. Plus I've been here before and loved it and she was curious and wanted to come.
And isn't the honeymoon really about spending time together and having fun anyway? Anyplace can be romantic, the destination isn't really as important as intention. Plus there is the possibility that we may move here in a year or so...
