I listened to one of her new-age podcasts just to see how insane she actually was....and wow, esoteric to the max. I wouldn't take any advice from Oprah or anything she promotes.

I'm with you, Jaline. Good on her for helping people but she is just so damned pompous. "...when I was at Quincy's the other night, he said the most amazing thing to me..." "I was talking to Maya on the phone the other day, that's Maya Angelo for you little people...". She drives me nuts. Oh and "oh my little dog had to die so that I could have the realization that I need to slow down and smell the roses." Argh!

Uggh...I hate that! She's always going on about how everything happens for a reason. One mother was on (back when I watched in high school) and her ex-husband killed all of their children (she had around 4, I believe). Oprah actually told that mother that everything happens for a reason.

i have nothing against oprah but have u noticed her crowd are a bunch of yes men and woman nodding to everything oprah says like they don't have an opinion

I would like to clarify my previous statements. I still don't agree with her attitude or how annoying she is in general, but:
I don't agree with the people who keep complaining about what Oprah is doing with her money and how she should be helping *such-and-such* or whomever. She can help whoever she wants b/c it's her money. I mean, let's see everyone else do better.
