Anybody know what font is used for a dos prompt. I'm trying to re-create a DOS interface.
thanks

not really a font, bc dos prompt is at the lowest system level
if there is a font which simulates the look of dos, it is most likely called 'dos font'

cool... I was thinking that somebody somewhere must have created something that mimicked the dos look. I'll check the free font sites. thanks.

It just shows up as "Raster Fonts" if you go to cmd properties.

OCR-A would do the trick. Otherwise:

actually, what am i saying, dos is no longer a native environment, only a emulation
so it must exist as a system font or something

Under vista you can find the raster font file in: windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-win...
