I'd heard Google was luring all the top talent with high salaries... doesn't seem to be the case with this sample... especially for silicon valley.

I don't know though...I imagine people will think highly of you if you said you worked for Google. Or believe that you are rich, which may not be such a good thing.

Thats average for the bay area but its expensive as hell out here and thats the reason why. A 2 bedroom condo will cost you no less than 450,000 for anything decent. 600+ for something nice. We also have the highest gas prices in the country so I don't think this is too crazy.
