well, first thing you'll notice is that the TA now regularly patrol the streets in order to enforce the new anti terror and anti-social behaviour legislation and related curfew. Do remember to photocopy your papers and keep them on your person at all times as failing to be in possession of these when approached by a member of our guard will result in a detention of up to 42 days without charge.
These measures are taken to offset the effects of the reiver gangs which have sprung up in recent times; groups of up to 20 feral immigrant youths armed with razor lined bike chains who roam the streets making a living through hostage taking and armed robbery. They like a bit of rape and murder for kicks too, so most of us have taken to carrying small arms and pepper spray on our person just to be safe when out and about.
Then there's the Dragons, big ones, everywhere. No one knows where they came from or where they go at night but expect to see a few strafe the area from time to time, burning all and sundry in a horrifying inferno and carrying off virgins. Tank fire is all we've really got against them but, as I'm sure you can imagine, our nationally based forces are far too busy with the youth gangs to be deployed fast enough to deal with the lizard problem.
Apart from that, and the virus, the smoking ban's all that's really changed mate.
enjoy your trip, I hear Devon is lovely this time of year.
- I believe all of this apart from the smoking ban, I mean come on.Jnr_Madison
- 2nd hand dragon smoke - that's the REAL killer.mikotondria3
- fuck yeah, nothing like the carbon fumes of a cremated virgin.kelpie

AH! That sounds horrific, those Tories.
Mind you - last time they were in I was poor, so it wasn't very nice, and I was pretty much stoned for the entire duration of the labour government whom I helped vote it whilst living at college and having socialist worker and Smiths posters on my wall.
Oh well, just looking forward to a human-sized bag of crisps and some pasties and to see family.

I'm from Devon too. If the weather's nice hit up the South Devon coastline and try to spend some time on Dartmoor. Basically enjoy as much of the beautiful countryside and fresh air as you can.

Exeter is nice, except for the suicide bombers... and we're back in the league

I wish I lived in Devon. Went to school in Lyme Regis (Dorset/Devon border) and all my family are from the awesomely named village of Beer. Love it down there but it's just too expensive.

I used to cycle to Lyme Regis from Exmouth as a youngster
- It's a nice ride for sure. I guess I can't complain, I'm only 10 mins from the moors of Yorkshire which is nice.jamble
