I think the boss is monitoring our MSN. Is this possible if so is there a way to stop it?
- iwiniquit0
probably has a keylogger. so he can even see what you're typing in QBN. :)

Stop using MSN on the company dime?
I've banned that shit in my time - if I was overseeing people today, I'd do the same again.

i often wonder about our IT guys readin mails and stuff, they are probably reading this. they all use remote acces all the time to istall stuff etc.
- if you're on a mac, turn off remote desktop under sharing in system prefs...GreedoLives

Don't use MSN.

there are lots of sniffers available for msn. for example: http://www.msn-sniffer.com/
- essentially anything you send across the network has the potential of being captured and analyzed.fugged

Haha... Love it.
"I'm doing something I'm not supposed to be doing. I don't want to work, I want to carry on chatting to underage girls. How can I cheat the system?".
Hey, boy - how about you just do what they are paying you to do?
- In his defense, sometimes it's a slow work day.Jaline
- But yeah, no MSN at work.Jaline
- Then you can't blame them if they use anything against you.Jaline
- I'm not having a go, just think it's funny. Fair play. If you think about it, there are enough users on QBN.com...Raniator
- ...to constitute it being 'realtime chat'. I mean - you don't have to wait very long to get a reply.Raniator
- That's true. It's not banned at my work yet though, thankfully.Jaline

MSN Buggy? I get a 404 on meebo's products page...

Use gaim, enable encryption. The other person you're talking to will also need gaim and encryption enabled. This method won't work if he's using a keylogger :P

If they're reading your emails or monitoring your MSN then you have bigger problems on your hands.
I'm pretty certain they have more important things to do; if not then start looking for a job.
- Not if there's an actual IT section for that purpose.Jaline
- Yes... but the purpose would most likely be to monitor time spent not necessarily information being transmitted; unless of course if you're a terrorist or just exchanging kiddie porn.IRNlun6
- I work for the gov., so it's probably a different story. But I know IT people around here can see the content.Jaline
