Taqueria Del Sol on Howell Mill Rd. (10th st west to Howell Mill, turn right, up a block or so on the left).. I used to live a block from here. Eat the Fried Chicken Taco and the Rotisserie Chicken Enchilada with lemon cream sauce. One of the few things I miss about Atlanta.

I'd say vortex (and most other places in little 5), The Park Tavern at Piedmont Park, and Siam (Thai Food) in Decatur are some of my favorites currently. And if you get a chance check out the Sweetwater Brewery, you get to try everything for $8. Have fun!

The whole damn town is red and black, they pretty much run the town don't they?

The *New* World of Coke is pretty cool, at least from a tourist perspective. At any rate, you can go and drink tons of soda you can't get here in the states.
As far as food:
Tasty China in Marietta - I know Chinese food in Atlanta? Trust me.
BBQ # 1 or 2 in Marietta - Far better than Fat Matts.
Busy Bee Cafe - Small, jammed at lunch, but has been there since the 40's.
Paolo's - Gelato in the Virginia Highlands
The Vortex - For burgers in little 5 points.
The Varsity - just because you need to go.
