Seems like it must be harder to find print/ ID work in general...I'm with madirish, been completely slammed for the past few months. I haven't actually looked for a job since 2007, and have had my hands full with repeat work from existing clients ever since then.

Well, in the Twin Cities print designers are just everywhere, but interactive is a whole different ball game. Like I said, I've been on the phone all day, and I might have one project coming out of it, but I might be trying to hook up with a programmer and trying the interactive thing, just to get business going.
But I appreciate the words/support. Here's to some hopeful work.

I've never understood how print guys make a living freelancing. Seems like a hard sell with more folks than work. The reality is more and more money is flowing towards the web. A trend that will not let up anytime soon.
- I 2nd that. How do you make a living designing logos and brochures? Seriously...mrbee2828

I have t side with Matt... I'm drowning in work right now with 2 guys on staff. I turn down projects daily. So the question is are you charging to much, being to picky, niching yourself to much or what? If you do interactive and/or Flash I can feed you sub $4k work. You have some decent stuff.... either you don't network well enough or something else isn't going right. Talk to me... seriously.
