get lost.

No.
I gave up after the first couple of episodes of the 2nd series. Just went on... and on... and on.. and on... and on.
So come on then, what was it? Did they wake up and it was all a dream?

- and on.********
- I feel the same way about the show. Got through half of the second season and quit. boooring.OnesandZeros

I've not watched since Episode 7 of this season.
got them all sitting on my desktop, waiting to be watched. . .maybe tonight.

I think that it's a shame people got so pissed off that 'they didn't get of the island' by season two and stopped watching......there's so much stuff happening now, doesn't look like it'll have a happy ending either....

I enjoyed the first three series then it just seemed like they were making it up as they went along in the 4th.

I found it a bit boring to be honest. I'm not sure if I can be bothered with the next series watching Jack try to convince everybody they have to go back. Joy.

i watch it only because i need closure.

I lost interest in the first season, believe it or not, but I'm glad I stuck with it.

they've done a good job of continuing the story without introducing a ton of new characters. I couldn't help but think of Twin Peaks, from ages ago (still the best, imho), which went off in too many tangents, lost people's interest, etc.
- – "How do we continue the story?"
– "How about we make them go back to the island?"

Island moved? Locke dead? The six to return? Ben cannot?

The finale wasn't nearly as cliffhanger-y as previous seasons, but that works for me seeing as there's a 9 month wait until we see it again.

As far as they provide answers for me is fine.
Since now they just drawn the context of the whole story (widmor, Ben, etc etc) without revealing anything really important about the island (apart that this jacob asked to move it). I'm bit afraid that even them don't have a clear idea of it.

Well, i've heard Cuse and Lindeloff say that they know the finale scene of the series, and Matthew Fox knows it too (he's the only cast member who does), so they have an end point. But i'm guessing you're right that they don't have a crystal clear of how to get there from here. Maybe an outline, but definately not a clear path.

It was awesome. I may be one of the only ones that thinks that Lost has gone from strength to strength for the past 4 seasons. Glad it's not amazingly cliffhangery, but certainly a WTF moment! Only 30 eps odd left now :(

There is a larger Lost thread with in depth QBN analysis, but I'll post here since it's up. :)
Loved the last season on the finale, but there are a few things that bugged me.
1. Um, did Desmond's whole time-shifting storyline just go out the window? Wtf? He and Daniel had met nearly ten years previous. No further discussion on that?
2. Since there is a known time delay between island time and freighter (or off island) time, as seen with the dead doctor and previous experimentation, shouldn't there have been a delay between the mercenary dies and the bomb goes active on the boat?
3. So I guess Claire's dead?
- 1) i don't think that's the end since i bet Desmond's gonna have to go back and the location of Daniel's boat is in questionlocustsloth
- questionlocustsloth
- @ #2 - yeah i totally thought the same thingcuke426

^^
2) Maybe since the freighter was closer than it previous was (Juliet could see the smoke and the helicopter didn't have to go far to find the island) it cut down on the time delay (this is just a shot in the dark)
3) Yeah, i think Claire is dead, hence Miles's interest in her on the walk back and Claire muttering Charlie's name, as if she'd just seen him. But who knows

The show does have some of the best TV and film writers.

I stopped watching after season 3. I just read the summaries on Lost Pedia. :}
They have the most trite writers in comic books working on this. I was amazed they kept so many women alive for so long. Guess they rectified that. Wimmin haters!
- what about women?Jaline
- I mean I don't quite get what you are saying.Jaline
- All the cool ones got killed off and like all the guys keep getting "upgrades". Juliette doesn't count cause she has a penis.Redmond
- *spoilers* penisRedmond
- omg, I like Juliet. She's grown into a fine character. Some of the best ones did get killed off, but it's realistic.Jaline
- Also, name some of the ones you liked. Shannon? Ana Lucia? Libby? They weren't all interesting.Jaline
- I do agree with not liking Rousseau's death though, she was awesome. Shannon was asthmatic, so I liked that aspect of her as I have asthma too and I wanted itJaline
- of her as I am asthmatic too and wanted a more realistic portrayal of it. Too bad.Jaline
- Oh, Claire died too. Guess you're right, haha. But I didn't find her to be interesting either. They didn't develop her as much.Jaline
- much as they did some of the other characters. Yeah, maybe they need to kill off more of the males.Jaline
- Yeah and they're boring cause most of the guys working on this write mysoginistic comic books.Redmond
- Eh, not sure about that. They do have some nice female writers too. Anyway, as long as Juliet doesn't die...Jaline
