Anyone have any comments about the Dell 2208WFP monitor for web development? Any good?

if its the ultrasharp, its good. i used the 24" one. I loved it. for both print and web.

it is not good as 2007WFP; 2208 is based on TN panel (good for movies and games), but color reproduction and angle view is not good enough. I know from my experience. If you want screen for web development, go for it, if for web/gfx design go for 24" ultrasharp

and the 2009wfp is a TN as well, as opposed to 2007wfp

does the 1908wfp also have a TN panel? I know it's not listed in the hardforum link, but neither was the 2208wfp, so I'm a bit suspicious. As far as I can tell it wasn't in the System Profiler either.

thank you apple for making monitor names simple and easy to choose from...

I've got the DELL 2407WFP and I'm really happy with it. I work on an Apple 24" at work and I swear there is no difference between the two...except for a 3 year warranty, horizontal or vertical arrangement (straight out the box), built in card reader...oh and about $500. :P

which dell is good for photographers? i like the horizontal/vertical arrangement.

what about NEC 20WGX2 - it is non-TN panel display, and around 500euro or even less

As already stated: stay away from TN panels.
