Thanks MrAbominable - yah, seems like it may be a worthy investment, at least for one year. Looks like they feature a lot of designers, both big and small, in their books which is pretty nice.

^ auto entry into their book "competitions"; unlimited uploads; exposure; resource.
it's not a bad return on your investment. i haven't been a subscriber in years but i've gotten into a couple books.

i dont get it, you pay 100$ to be able to upload logos on their websites?
why?

So this thread was last commented on in May 2008.
Is anyone currently a LogoLounge member? Is it worth it to join? I realize that's the only way you can submit logos which will possibly get you printed in their annual book. But is it worth the price of admission? Any benefits to being a year long member?

I'm more interested in getting branding/identity work from the site.
Thanks for the feedback. Consensus is it's not worth the $100.

Save your money and buy 100 bucks worth of books every year instead. I find sites where anyone can upload their work leads to heaps of garbage to wade through.

are these logos then downloadable in eps format?

So.. this is a route to getting wider access to other's logo work and possibly getting a mention in their books? I've got books 2 & 4 from them, and they both serve me pretty well, but .. well.. access to more logoage is always a good thing, and perhaps, one day, I could get in there?
Aye, prolly not.

I also have a logolounge account. I use it often. Plus after you pay the $100 fee you can upload your own logos. If you have a employer you can get them to cover the fee. Thats what I did.

inspiration eh?
- organic_grid0
Yes, I am a member. Logolounge has by far the largest selection of logos that you could find anywhere on the Web for research and or inspiration. Plus Logolounge has used several of my logos for a few of their books. $100- is a bit expensive, but you get access to the library of logos anytime that you need ideas or inspiration.

Anyone here also a member of logolounge? Is it worth the $100 fee?
Do you find it beneficial, getting any gigs from it, the occasional hug and tug??
