interestingly, i spoke to someone who just arrived in America as an international student. She had always thought of America as free place and a melting pot. She never knew about black history and that only in the 1970s were black people really free. I wonder how having a president such as Barack would change issues across the country and the world. Especially in international areas where America is hated and the first image they see is a white man.
