Imac 20" or 24"

In my country, 20" 2.66GHZ 2g Ram and 24" 2.4GHZ 1g ram r the same price! which one do you guys suggest? 2.4 and 2.6 speed make huge difference?

size vs. speed. it's a classic old question.
whichever you get, get more RAM and make sure it's with the least amount of RAM cards (ie: 4GB with 2 x 2GB cards rather than 4 x 1GB or 8 x 500MB).

My roommate just got the 20" and exchanged for the 24" having found out that the 20" screen is only 6-bit instead of 8-bit, but through some kind of process they both yields 1 million colors. He also said there's a class action suit against Apple because of this.

The 24" is gorgeous, but use our basically as our TV. Getting RAM from anywhere except Apple is pretty cheap, too. The 20" looks tiny now. ;)

I just upgraded my RAM to 4g from Crucial for $115...worked like a charm. But yeah, don't buy RAM from Apple.

so is any RAM compatible with apple i macs? or does it have to be a special type?
- Best thing to do is to contact a vendor (MacMall, CDW, etc) and ask what type you need or go to the Apple store and find it and write down the specslocustsloth
