Never understood the appeal of STP...or Alice in Chains.
- It might be an age thing. Most must that resonates with me does so because of the time of life in which it came outlocustsloth
- Most music, that islocustsloth
- I only know that "Sour Girl" song. And the drug problems of the lead singer. Oh, and his inability to dance.Jaline
- great songs, great voicesoozie
- Jaline, you should buy/borrow/steal the albums "Core" or "Purple". Any track on those far surpass "Sour Girl"locustsloth
- I know, but SMG was in the video and she was one of my favourite actresses at the time.Jaline

saw them back in like 1995 ... great show ... great live band
say what you will about Weiland and his antics on-stage and off ... the other boys in the band can really play

THeir performance on Jimmy Kimmel was 50/50. i am really hoping they get their asses in gear and have a killer tour followed by their best album ever. However, i am a little skeptical

Are they still alive?

Scott Weiland had the best quote when arrested while wondering around a wealthy gated community a few years ago. The cop asked him what he was doing there and he said, "I don't live here. I'm only here to buy drugs". Haha! Classic.

Take time with a wounded hand. Or else dogs will smell it or something...

I thought everybody used to make fun of them?

i never really was that into their first album, but purple was really good, and they had some interesting singles later on... the guy is a mess, but the drugs seem to fuel his creativity... if only he could control himself.
amazing singer when he pushes himself.
velvet revolver was such a let down and he seemed so bored and monotone. no range, no feeling

@ gramme
though i agree his single efforts are watered down compared to soundgarden's energy and depth. i loved cornells first solo album. poppish but amazing songwriting... kinda let down by the last one. not much really stood out on it for me. bland.
certainly a talent though... one of my favorite singers

what's the over/under on a relapse / cancelation / break-up?
What ever it is I'll take the under.
