i just bought the bed too. i have been reading online that you dont have to throw away the mattress. its a matter of steaming the bugger and sealing it right afterwards.

gross

I see. Well at any rate, a new bed is obviously in order. The plagued one is beyond saving. Burn that sumbitch. Hit up craigslist for mattresses that are still sealed and unused. It's good that you'll be moving, just fumigate everything you own before setting foot in the new apartment.

i have only noticed it for two nights now. but i am going to tell the landlord soon. i am gonna go to a doctor to make sure, but i will make them aware. chances are they wont want to act because i am moving so soon

Have you brought this issue to your landlord's attention? That sucks man.

these don't itch
- 23kon0
nah youd know all about if it was scabies, youd be itchy as hell all the time but moreso at night and its impossible to get any sleep.
has to be one of the worst easily caught things you can get lol.
you can catch it from toilet seats, sharing towels, just living with someone, or intimate contact.
even once youve got the bastards killed with cream the itchin still goes on for a month or more afterwards until your skin sheds all the dead eggs. nice eh?

who knows weird

Guy at work had them, had to take all his clothes and seal them in a bin bag for a few months, then get a new mattress etc.
Some Australian backpacker type had rented the room for about a week before he moved in

scabies? Nah I see more when I wake up in the morning
- 23kon0
does puttin your clothing and bedding into freezer bags then dumping in the freezer for a few days work? think it works with scabies, dont know about bed bugs.
are you sure the marks arent scabies?

I love the smell of napalm in the morning.

Sleep in a tent in your place. Make sure your clothing is fresh beforehand. It will at least give you a bit of peace so you can sleep to think of the next thing to do.
