first time I was attacked, it was my own dog a German Shepard(pinto)at that, I was maybe 7-8 , we had another dog a greyhound, I wanted to ride her like a pony , Pinto thought I was moving in on her and went apeshit , lucky my brother was there to wack Pinto with a rake. Did not help that we saw the movie Cujo

I once punched a dalmatian right in its imbred face. That dog was fucking crazy. Never bothered me again after that though.

I like dogs. But I really only like dogs that if they went crazy, there is not a chance in the world I couldn't kill it with my bare hands easily.
I don't want a dog that if it went batshit crazy would fuck me up in the process of trying to break its neck.

Dog attacks are really rare, but the Boy Scout in me says it's still worth thinking about. Some things to know if you get attacked by a dog are:
Option One
1) Try to curl up into a tight ball, minimizing exposure of face, etc.Option Two
1) Understand that you are going to get bitten.
2) To stop the attack you need to choke the dog unconscious.Here's to hoping that turns out to be useless knowledge.

I was attacked once, and I made the mistake of running away. NEVER AGAIN. Short kids even get picked on by animals :(
