It's more troubling to me that it's ugly as fuck than it is that the siren is bare-breasted. However, naturally, some are taking issue with that:

Yup....butt ugly, though I don't think they use that logo...there is a different rendition where her hair is longer and covering her chest.

The logo is kind of stupid but the black and white cups look nicer.

Thank you all for your links to articles from 2005, but this is from a news item dated today (see link in original post). Granted, the article says it is a throwback to their original logo.
- i'm quite sure it's a joke. there branding with the green logo is way to entrenched.canuck

their current campaign is probably summed up as 'remembering our origins' w/ their ads reading: 'we make coffee' and going back to the first logo rendition.
The change in attitude makes me wonder if they are beginning to lose popularity. Reads as insecure if you ask me.

this'll probably only increase sales as the conservatives are getting all uppity.

- Did you take this photo?designbot
- This is essentially the same thing, aside from the "fresh roasted coffee" partlocustsloth
- Look a bit closer. Type face is heavier, kerned properly. What you posted is someones bad mockup.2cents
- Also look at the lines and the varying weights. It's all about the fine details which apparently alluded you.2cents
