needs more luxury, less health insurance.
colour scheme is rank.

I appreciate the resource, but I agree with comments that the colour scheme and logo don't say 'luxury watches'...

Doesn't really say Luxury!

for sure the
# User registration # Wish Lists # Smart Searching # client side managment of everything # Dynamic Image adjustment # Live currency feeds # Dynamic content retrieval from client sites and all work great.
but the style doesn't fit the subject i.m.o.
looks like a CheapFlightTickets.com

I'm sure the functionality is a wank mag for programmers but for an average bod visiting the site it looks dull, templated, cheap and has no real help to 'get into' the site, it needs more branding and promo-style areas leading the user into the site, at the moment it's just a listing, holds no interest.

best page on the entire site:

I'm pretty sure that all consideration to marketing and design were an afterthought to getting the functionality completed with this site.
- why? and specifics you can share?madirish
- that was perhaps a bit harsh********

I don't have the time or care enough to be honest but two for instances would be that on the first page there is no real focal area with any mission statement or call to action, just a list of watches with some offer to dealers, which eimmediately leaves me, as a consumer, feeling vulnerable and second place. Then it just says "Men's watches less than 25k" - now this isn't the best way to get people interested because it makes people feel uncomfortable to be talking cash so soon, there needs to be a much more considered message here and some kind of easy user journey depending if I am spending my 21st bday cash on a special treat or if I am a wealthy businessman/woman buying another for the collection - all in all this site currently looks too nerdy, too masculine and too much like a bookie's site or a bogus domain search site for me. I think it could be remedied fairly easily, mainly by looking at the homepage.

Good job you have done there mate, that's allot to do for just two people to design and develop a site like that. As for the web site it works very well, the search function is great, and the photo presentation is very good. One bad point, the design style does not say luxury product at all, and at this price rang it is important to bring that confidence across to the buyer.

logo mark is great but the font choice is horrible. it looks cheap. the colors are way off. this is bargain basement type colors.

(why is death on their homepage)
functionally the site is real sound. the ux is pretty sharp and navigation is a breeze.

Here's the V2 mock-up

looks good man! almost the NT of the watch world color-wise, but I like it. I don't know much about watches, but it appears well organized and pricey

My only concern is that will the dark colour scheme get hard too look at for too long.
