I just got myself Canon XSi. I am very pleased with it. Now I need to find a good camera case to carry it around. Since a lot of photographers post here I thought I would ask if any one can recommend a good SLR camera case. Or what things I should consider when choosing one.
any of your input will be appreciated.

Crumpler makes cool bags, but the site is strange.

Are you looking for just a camera case, or like a camera/laptop backpack... or ?

just a camera, I would prefer to have a compact case that would fit 1 extra lens

I agree :) crumpler is pretty cool, the 6 million one works for me..
-one camera, 2 lenses, plus chargers and stuff. I love it because I know my gear is safe and dosen't scream camera bag at you.

I have two cams, two lenses, flash, TC, lens hoods, batteries, cards, filters, cloths, in my 7 million dollar home. I use the 5 million dollar home when I only need to take one cam. The 7m home is good because it fits my 30D with 70-200 mounted.
I'm not into backpacks because I don't like taking my bag off to get things out, I don't like zips on top loaders as they are slow and a pain. I looked at the lowepro sidewinder but it looks too nerdy.
I have to swap shoulders a bit because of the weight but otherwise great.
