i have it and love it. my wife has the 15" and it's great too. I like the larger screen tho.

so where do the fans go? do they have many small fans or a few large ones parallel with the bottom of the case? I keep hearing that mac laptops run super hot. is it just poor engineering?

why do the macbook/pros have so few usb ports? my 4 year olf dell has 5. the 15" has 2 and the 17" has 3. it's kind of silly.

I find my mbp17" resolution too much. I bend over the desk squinting to read the text on this site. I know I can increase font size but it means I can't read the notes or scroll to next page in the feed. Plus images are small. I can have the bbc website in two windows next to each other though. Useful when sorting out my fantasy football team.
