i moved to chicago in jan. right after i graduated. i endured the shittiest weather ever. snow? never seen it before i came here. i came to chicago about 2 years in the summer and its way worse here in terms of weather. in terms of things to do, chicago gots it all.

I moved here from Phoenix last August and love it. More work, more to do, most all the benefits (and drawbacks) of an American metropolis with reasonable rent/living expenses. The winter is a bastard, but most anybody on north half of this continent is in the same boat.

this winter was the worst winter ever. its probably sucks even more if you live in the city, have a car and have to park on the street. summer is fine. it gets kind of humid in the summer, but it isn't florida. fuck that place

So is there a blog or some good resource with a list of the better half of the design studios out there? That firmlist link is pretty deep, and the majority are pretty crappy. I just want to get together a solid list.
