It's the whole hollywood thing - the stereotype is that everybody is very fake, arrogant and obsessed with nothing but themselves and being a writer, director, actor, musician, etc...
That's true in some parts of the city and if you want to run in that crowd, you certainly can but there's loads of creative people there.

LA is amazing. tons of creative and everyones laid back. if you dont like fake people dont go where they go. that holds true in almost every city.

LA is FUCKING HUGE. whatever your scene, you can find it here. If you're into hollywood tits and muscles, it's here. If your scene is ghey dodists who don't believe in faces, it's here. Whatever you want in an area of like 30 million people.

yup, I used to hate it for the above reasons. Now I just don't pay attention to those circles. It's like that with any city. Only bitch I have with it is the traffic.

The agency I work for is doing some amazing stuff. Some huge clients too, we have like 50 fortune 500 clients. Some are not so fun, some are super creative and very fun. I dig it tho, everyday is new and different. Email me for more, I don't really like name dropping.
