Can someone peep this image and explain to me how to achieve this textured/fabric look in PS? I tried using 45-degree diagonal lines, but i'm not sure what i did wrong.

i know, it is supposed to represent a fabric. It looks like a twill fabric. That is what I am trying to emulate.

1. gradient
2. make lines
3. turn lines 45 degrees
4. turn down the opacity

I mean if you want something dirtier than lvl's solution I imagine you could find a close up of denim, rotate to the correct angle and then make it a pattern fill. Then set a layer style to control color.
Or do what lvl said and throw some clouds or fibers over it to dirty it up a bit.

- it is fiberglass twill. If you scale it down for the pattern, it should work.flashbender

you can find something to use as an overlay to get the pattern you want.
