Go for the Black one. Not only looks more comfy than the white (those pillows -on the white one- will make your butt to sink and your back will be on a V shape but also.. the black on looks more DESIGNER than the white.

If you spill > ketchup > chocolate > wine > doggie pee pee > grease > or just about anything on the "white sofa" it will be ruined.
Then again, you don't have to have anyone sit on the sofa at all.

I would never get a white one because I'm not into stains (I know, right!). Of course, you could get those protective sprays and whatever but I'm not sure it works for everything.

As a retort, the white one will actually be the charcoal colored wool cashmere blend. The cushions are really high density foam, no sink or sag, backs are down and high density foam. $2600, the other one, I think is a wool blend, high density foam, smallest size costs ~ $8700
