Who's buying it today? Download from Sony store or buying the disk? I think I'll head out at lunch and buy the physical disk. Who wants to race?

well because half a GT game is still better than any Need for Speed or Burnout racing game.

GT5 is so much of an improvement it's unbelievable. Apparently there will be damage in a future download.

But, wasn't there something about the car manufactures didn't allow damage on their cars? What fun is it to crash into your buddy if he just continue to drive after he hit to concrete wall with 200 mph?
The GUI is fucking horrible in GT5 btw. you spend half the time navigating around and confirming everything over and over again till in actually happens.
MGS and GTA is first on my shopping list this year, might give GT5 a chance when the real game comes out. Prologue is bullshit

You guy were right, the game play kind of blows. During online racing if you crash into someone to hard you'll ghost right through them so you don't cause an "accident. I'm really not sure how they're going to add "damage" the load times are extremely slow just for minor updates.
The graphics are incredible but it's the same game play as GT3 and the interface is sooooo boring. They still have that awful midi jazz playing during load times. I wish you could use your own music.
I'd give it *** out of *****.

Bought it off the PS Store last night, took 4hrs to download. Beentrying for 18hrs to get the patch downloaded.

I think the problem in Gran Turismo is not MAKING the damage engine, but getting all the manufacturers to agree to ALLOWING physical damage to their models.

I bought the blue ray disc for the US exclusive HD Movies that are by the way spoken in Japanese and subtitled in Italian. Lots of good that does me. Popped it in and it had to copy info to the HDD...about 45 minutes. Then went to race...but first had to update data...another 45-1hr. Then I went to Sign on to the network...another freakin update that I kept getting server errors on.
I couldn't even play online until last night and the disc froze twice during playback.Man any other game and I would have tossed the disc right out the window.
