Don't talk so glib. It's entirely possible for nearly anyone's life to fall apart, in a really dramatic way.

substance abuse, mental illness, abuse, poor luck

yeh every one of those people has a uniquely different story and none of them ever thought that any of the decisions they made would ever land them up being guilt-wrenching curios or subjects for fed warm people with computers to glance at for a few seconds, and admire their artistic capture.
Shit son, you can go from the crest of the wave to picking garbage for food and pissing yourself while you smoke black tar within a few months when fate comes knocking at your door, be thankful for everything and everyone you have and remember that we're all working without a net.

i first read "30% donated". i almost threw a fit.
then i read:
"First, and most helpful to what we do, is to purchase a piece. 30% of online print sales are donated to get basic supplies to young people on the street. In addition, 100% of the sales gross (less production cost) on selected prints is donated to help young people on the street."
and i was still a bit heated, thinking why "on select prints"!then i read this:
Second, you can donate money directly to help folks and I'll deliver it in the form of supply items (I'd normally not just give someone the cash; unless you prefer). You can optionally specify exactly what items / services you'd like delivered (or who you'd like them delivered to; e.g., a particular person I've photographed). Or, you can send the items (food cards, etc.) in a care package for me to deliver (email me if you'd like to do this: ). I usually try to video the delivery of these services, so you can directly see the help you give.well...that is pretty fucking phenomenal. it's so rare to see such a thing...no words left really...just wow.

that part of it seems a little bizarre. like somehow i wouldn't be able to find a homeless person to help on my own.
the shots have excellent tone. i wish it wasn't a flickr page.
