I'm really exciting for this cleansing process! Let's get rid of Redden, Commodore (unfortunately), Emery, etc.
I'm sure Redden will think about staying, but he takes up too much money and has sucked lately.
I think Murray is more interested in getting a team like what Anaheim has. Fast players + awesome defensemen. Especially the defensemen.
I've heard rumours about still trading Campbell for Redden. We'll see. If San Jose loses then maybe that is possible.
Also, I heard rumours about Luongo for Spezza, since Luongo hasn't been too happy lately and his wife is from Florida and something about timezones blah bleh blah.
Anyway, I'm not sure that a trade like that would be good for the team. I know you have to let go of great players to get great ones, but Spezza sets up a lot of the guys and he had the most points on our team this year! What would Heatley do is Spezza wasn't there? I have my suspicions that he wouldn't perform as well, but we'll see. I'm still disappointed with Heatley's performance in each playoff run. He never seems to get the same kind of production as in the regular season. I guess we should give him time...
- That's a tough call. Gerber played great despite getting swept... and Spezza is young and incredible.********
- Yeah, Spezza always gives the puck away, but so many of the best players do. Like Ovechkin and Hossa, I heard.Jaline
- Crosby/ Malkin?
See you said the best players and you didn't include them.******** - Is that because they don't give up the puck?********
- I'm confused.********
- What are you getting at?********
- Actually Hossa is a great defensive offensive player if that makes any sense. Malkin gave it up on Monday and he saved the day.********
- * saved the day.********
- I mean someone on TV mentioned that the players who give away the puck the most are some of the best.Jaline
- It may have been someone else, like Malkin, rather than Hossa. But Ovechkin and Spezza were in the top 3.Jaline
- haha, you sound offended :PJaline

I hope Anaheim keeps losing...
It's hard to choose favourites when there are so many Canadian players on each team...
- This one guy at my work is a Duck fan. And by Duck fan, I mean actually a hockey fan.********
- He went to Anaheim last year for the playoffs and the cup. I lost money to him of course as a result.********
- I don't hate Anaheim a lot or anything, but they get away with so much...Jaline

Brodeur doesn't shake Avery's hand
Avery waving his stick in Brodeur's face
I think I would've punched Avery in the face for that too."After five games of running into, harassing and annoying Martin Brodeur, Sean Avery took a final swipe at the New Jersey goalie after the New York Rangers eliminated the Devils in the first round of the playoffs.
Avery ripped Brodeur for his lack of sportsmanship for failing to shake his hand after the Rangers beat the Devils 5-3 to win the Eastern Conference series in five games.
Every Devils player shook Avery's hand - although some barely looked at him - until Brodeur dropped his hand and skated past the pesky forward.
"I just shook everybody's hand but one," said Brodeur, who has led the Devils to three Stanley Cup championships.
Avery stood in front of Brodeur and waved his stick in front of the goaltender's face trying to block his view. He eventually scored but many hockey purists felt his antics showed poor sportsmanship.
"I've played for 15 years in this league. I've been watching games for 33 years. I had never seen that in my life," Brodeur said at the time. "I don't think that kind of behaviour should be done in front of the net, but there is no rule for it."
The following day, the NHL ruled his action was illegal."

go rangers. Does everyone hate them due to avery, just wondering what it is like not having him on your team? I would probably hate him if he wasn't a ranger, but i am sure glad he is.
- Yeah, it's like Pronger, although I still think I would hate Avery for waving a stick. It's the ghey.Jaline

I hate them now.
GO PENS GO!!!
Actually I like Avery... mainly because he's kind of a douche to everybody he plays against, haha.

If Montreal looses tomorrow, I'm jumping on the Dallas bandwagon. I love that team.
- non-one cares about either of them. Have fun. :D********

I like Dallas too, actually. Now that the Sens are gone I pretty much don't care about anything. My life is void...
- I have the feeling I'm about to feel the same after tonight's game...lajj
- When Arsenal went out of the Champions League I physically got sick.********
- When Arsenal lost to ManU ending their Premiership Title run I almost cried.********
- I know this feeling very well, haha. I think I was actually depressed for a good week.********
- Though in your case I hope your joking ...********
