I'm really exciting for this cleansing process! Let's get rid of Redden, Commodore (unfortunately), Emery, etc.
I'm sure Redden will think about staying, but he takes up too much money and has sucked lately.
I think Murray is more interested in getting a team like what Anaheim has. Fast players + awesome defensemen. Especially the defensemen.
I've heard rumours about still trading Campbell for Redden. We'll see. If San Jose loses then maybe that is possible.
Also, I heard rumours about Luongo for Spezza, since Luongo hasn't been too happy lately and his wife is from Florida and something about timezones blah bleh blah.
Anyway, I'm not sure that a trade like that would be good for the team. I know you have to let go of great players to get great ones, but Spezza sets up a lot of the guys and he had the most points on our team this year! What would Heatley do is Spezza wasn't there? I have my suspicions that he wouldn't perform as well, but we'll see. I'm still disappointed with Heatley's performance in each playoff run. He never seems to get the same kind of production as in the regular season. I guess we should give him time...
- That's a tough call. Gerber played great despite getting swept... and Spezza is young and incredible.********
- Yeah, Spezza always gives the puck away, but so many of the best players do. Like Ovechkin and Hossa, I heard.Jaline
- Crosby/ Malkin?
See you said the best players and you didn't include them.******** - Is that because they don't give up the puck?********
- I'm confused.********
- What are you getting at?********
- Actually Hossa is a great defensive offensive player if that makes any sense. Malkin gave it up on Monday and he saved the day.********
- * saved the day.********
- I mean someone on TV mentioned that the players who give away the puck the most are some of the best.Jaline
- It may have been someone else, like Malkin, rather than Hossa. But Ovechkin and Spezza were in the top 3.Jaline
- haha, you sound offended :PJaline
