Hi All,
I'm about to develop an interface for a websales system and I need some fresh inspiration.
What's the best interface design book(s) out there? Or websites?
Ta!

To be honest, I’d stay away from buying any web design books. In 2 years those books are going to be incredibly outdated. Of course there will be some nice timeless design elements on some of the pages, and some inspiration, but just this weekend I picked up a few of my design books for inspiration and couldn’t help but laugh that they’re only a year old and everything is so out of date. Kinda felt like a waste of money.

For inspiration look at the f.w.a., or desgin.meltdown. With the latter there are some dated pieces there but for the most part you can draw inspiration from there.

Designing for Interaction by Dan Saffer is pretty eye-opening.
