Why does firefox just stop responding after a few minutes of using it? I have a handful of extensions installed, I wonder if there are other users with problems with the same extensions?
Adblock
DOM Inspector
DownThemAll
FlashGot
NoScript
PicLens
talkback
I've reinstalled, restarted etc. It just seems to stop downloading a website after a few minutes of running. I'm on a MBP 2.2 ghz intel core2 w/ 4gb ram etc.
Anyone?

You seem to have too many extensions installed, dude. Particularly, ones that are always running and taking a fair amount of space in your system, like Adblock or PicLens. One thing is to have add-ons that are activated when you activate them, like download managers; another thing is having automated tools. Check for info and bug reports about the extensions you're using.
- I only run dictionaries, Webdev toolbar, and I activate Firebug (cross-inspector) when I really want to check something out.********

So I took your advice, disabled all the extensions...no help.
Then I re-enabled everything, and tried disabling one at a time for process of elimination...no help.
It's the weirdest thing, it will stall predictably stall after a specific sequence of steps. Then I try the same steps in Safari, all good. I assume it may be a ram issue at this point, but can't bloody tell for sure.
so frustratig.

AdBlock apparently causes a number of windows crashes but I'm not sure if it has similar issues on the mac. Might be the starting point to check out though.
