I’ve spent almost two years curating this Apple Playlist. I would say it’s about 80% of what I listen to throughout the week now. Enough to where I’m seriously thinking I was born in the wrong time and place. Maybe I should have been born in the 1950s somewhere in Spanish Harlem, Cartagena Colombia, or Puerto Rico. Just so I could have been active in this scene during the 70s.
I love everything about this music. The voices, the instruments, the dances, and most of all the lyrical content. I’m fascinated by the quality of the compositions and the passion in the artists voices. The best part is that the music spans decades and I’ve only began to scratch the surface of what’s out there!
If you don’t speak Spanish I’m sorry. Give it a listen and I’m sure you’ll understand where I’m coming from. I also don’t know how the list will share on here, so if it doesn’t come through and you’d like to hear it, let me know and I will do my best to get you the list of songs.

I went to their last show last year and I get lowkey emotional every time i play this. I think it's so good and it bums me out that their done and there wont be any more ever.
