Does anyone else think Bobbers are really cool? There is something about the post WWII Motorcycles that just look simple and awsome not over done.

While I appreciate big manufacturers recognizing the importance (read: popularity) of the bobber, the best examples still come from a random Joe's garage. There's a dude down the street from me that scratch builds bikes as a hobby. More personality in that garage than you'll find anywhere.

I think it would be really fun to build my own bike that is like the rat rods built post WWII. I wonder what tools and how extensive it is to construct one. It's hard to find any great documentation on that.
