There was a thread i started a couple years ago polling men on whether they sit or stand to pee, and it got deleted by QBN after like an hour. Euro dudes like to sit.

fifty50, I have heard its a very common phenomenon for German men to sit to piss. They don't like to talk about it, its rooted in some kind of national psychological state of mind, but more German men sit than stand to piss apparently.
- They mostly do sit, but I believe it has more to do with toilet design than psychologyfifty50

Stand, and you'll get a hell of a splashback. So the choice comes down to whether you want to sit and relax and feel like a ponce or if you want to clean your toilet every day.

One time at band camp (not joking, sadly) the head counselor told us (500 or so high school age kids) that a rule in his house is that no matter what you are doing in the bathroom, you have to sit. And that was going to be a rule here. An awkward moment for everyone.
