I have an aminated character and I'm trying to sync a voice over with his mouth movement. When I publish the SWF it works great. However, it renders differently on different browsers. Example: In safari, everything is synced perfectly but in firefox the mouth movement is delayed so the voice doesn't fit the mouth movement correctly.
My sounds are embedded on the timeline along with the mouth tweens. It's set at 25 FPS.
Suggestions??

Not sure if this addresses that specifically, but here is a plugin that helps with this process in general.

Set it to "stream" in the Property inspector. Make sure all animation is in one timline with sound (i.e. no nested movieclips etc)...like a flattened movie or linear timeline animation).

thanks for the tip!
although my issue is with syncing sound accurately, not animation problems.

Try 31fps too. That's solved the problem for me before.

just a quick tip, sometimes when flash is playing a movie it will play parts with no sound faster (or) slower than other keyframes w/ sound. Something I've done in the past thats helped with syncing issues is to place a silent sound... thats right a sound file of silence on a seperate layer (on sync setting, loop'd) to force the timeline to stay on real time... what this will do is: no matter what, flash will force the timeline to stay in time sync, as opposed to concentrating on (and slowing down) trying to play every frame of the animation...
