Does anyone else experience this?
You're working on a big, multi-layered file, large file size, and you move a layer/piece of visual data. Its not linked or grouped with anything or anything like that, but when you've just positioned it carefully - just exactly where you want it in the perfect place - and you let go of the thing... it pauses for a moment while you go on to select soemthing else, and then, it fucking jumps back to where it was before you moved it.
DRIVES ME NUTS.
Any fixes?

yeah that happens. drag it near where you want it, and then nudge it with the arrows

Maybe some more info? Are you dragging it with the Move tool? are you entering numbers into the Control Palette? Are you doing it through the Transform command?

nah it's just ps screwing up

if you're close to the border of the image you need to uncheck something within the snap functions (forget which menu--sorry!)

don't press 'undo'.
