Having trouble finding a good name for my new pup. Got a list of some possibilities but none of them feel 'right'. He's a male Italian Greyhound, 8 weeks old, bit of a nuisance.
So far:
Franchitti (Frankie) - after the Scots-Italian Indy 500 winner
Iggy - obviously (too obvious?) after Mr Pop
Puccini - someone else's suggestion
Tyson (Mikey) - he likes to chew ears
Jake (la Motta) - he's a brawler
Anyone have any good suggestions?

My calico cat's name is Frankie. She was originally named Franchesca by the girl who gave her to me. The name fits perfectly.

It's tricky cause every time I look at him I want to call him something else. At the moment he's like a Jimmy or something.

My last dog was called 'chan' (for no other reason than my dad had a dog called chan when he was a kid).
Anyway, we had to take him to the vet one day and he was being a bitch going for other dogs and we were shouting 'CHAN..CHAN' and all the staff were looking at us funny. Anyway, we go in to the treatment room and we are introduced to the vet....'Mr Chan'.
