I'm not sure where to click at any point in the site, they entry page has too much going on.
When i did figure it out, i felt there were too many clicks to get to the illustration work.
Then when i got to the illustrations i said, "this site didn't look like the site of a hand draw illustrator."

Splash page doesn't fit with the res of the site and lose the pop-up.
On a positive note, you have some nice work.

Yeah, exactly what Tasty said. I went with the intention of checking it out, I saw one piece and by then, I was fed up of the levels I had to get through to get there. Your website is TOO fancy. Its your work that needs to be shown. The one piece I managed to get to looked interesting.

nice illustrations
navigation on the site is terrible to the point were its going to drive people away before they will look at your work

I think the hand written style typeface you used on your pop up flash window is more complimented to your design style than the font you have used in your web address on the intro splash page.... I would agree the Splash page itself takes away from the rest of the work... doesn't really fit in with the Flash site it introduces ... Your portfolio is Fantastic .... :) Great stuff.

You really just need to hit soemone with your best, most representative piece of work straight off, and then provide very simple one layer portals to other categories of work.
