Contract Between Colleagues

A colleague of mine and I are getting ready to share a few projects and we wanted to put together a contract between the two of us that would cover a number of items like non-compete and responsibilities.
The last thing I am is a lawyer and this contract is more of a guideline for us then to prevent anything serious from happening. We just decided to have some official documentation of our agreement.
Any suggestions where I can find contract templates covering these kind of agreements?

Try AIGA resources perhaps? Or the equivalent thereof for your geographic region.

I would talk with a ruthless designer, they'll have the answer.
- Hmm. I'll have to track one down. I don't know any myself.

I'm taking a look through the AIGA site now and I can't seem to find anything regarding smaller contracting like this.
I think I can easily write up a letter of agreement for us to use but I don't know the legal language to throw in there.
- Then just write it in English. Legal obfuscation is in no one's interests except the lawyers'.detritus
- Thats what someone else recommend as well. Apprentely even if things go to court a judge will rule in the favour of the contract even if its not legal speakscrap_paper

I have no idea if these will be relevant, but you might find something close.

Don't trust your friend. He's got a reputation.
- Yep. Trusting is not the smartest way to do stuff. If shit hits the fan people will look after themselves
