hey folks..
have a big gig to do some graphics that will show on a Jumbotron screen during the 'green-apple' earthday concerts..
my problem is, how do i emulate here in the studio a jumbotron?...it's going to be showing a tweaked up Google map with some active elements that we're designing...
i've been trying all morning to find out the specs/conversion but haven't found much...atleast not much that is helping...
what do i set the dpi/ppi at....etc....
anyone else here done something for a Jumbotron?
how did you set up the file?...any suggestions?thanks guys...any help would be really appreciated...
cheers

you could ask the client

good point ephix...but i thought i'd try asking the folks here first, just incase one of the gang here had done some work on a jumbotron before...ya never know...
always a good idea to try and answer a problem on your own (or from some help from friends) before you check in with the client.... ;)

I did a jumbo tron for Times Square this past winter. The specs should be supplied to you from whoever is showcasing the piece. I'm pretty sure most of the Jumbo Tron's are custom shapes and sizes anyway. Mine was absolutely enormous.
