I've always been told you need to buy separate fonts to get the ligatures, vertical A's and all the goodies originally designed by Lubalin for Avant Garde magazine.
When you look at http://www.linotype.com/167969/i…
..they all seem to be there in Basic Latin Unicode 2.0 table. What does it mean? The've always been available in the original font file? How to type them? Windows only?

The Alts are at Fontshop: http://www.fontshop.com/fonts/do…
They are only the ligatures, just bought them last week.

- didn't use ALT 'N' in the bottom partjaylarson
- I like this. However, the lines need to be smoother. Like the meeting of "J" and "A", and each link b/w "R", "S", and "O"Jaline
- otherwise the first one is good.Jaline
- Thanks Jaline, these were just to show the line widths aren't perfect in the fonts. and yes, i had to modify to align perfectlyjaylarson
