Seeing as we're more in the habit these days of digging up established and retired institutions/heroes and asking them to perform again (Rocky, Rambo, Indiana Jones, Charlies Angels, Zatoichi, Battle Star Galactica, 007, J. McClane, Knight Rider, Herbie, Superman, Maxwell Smart, Batman, Miami Vice, Precinct 13, Star Wars, etc. ), what else would be on the cards?

Automan (but with more bandwidth)
I'm a great fan of nostalgia and enjoy and appreciate great movies and TV shows and am as avid as the next comic book fan growing up in the 80s, but when will the next generation of stuff gain momentum and pave the way?
What's ground-breaking now that will be the next Quantum Leap or Back to the Future, or am I just an old fart?

So I'm actually missing out? I don't watch as much TV as I used to, I guess my lifestyle changed (word to those who enjoy watching TV and eating junk food in their underpants – don't get married) but are we just recycling to the extreme now?
