Is it worth anything? I bought from a seemingly reputable seller with over 2600 of 99.6% positive feedback and he seems to have disappeared as he just got 8 negatives from people in recent days..
My item never arrived and emails aren't answered.

You're probably better off claiming the money back through your bank directly. You should be allowed to do that if the seller has just disappeared.

PayPal buyer protection has saved my ass a couple of times from bootleggers and bad sellers. Probably $1k by now...

paypal favors the buyer mostly.....
i've had buyers abuse that when i've sold things and paypal insta-froze funds in my account, even if the buyer were wrong.
report a claim, more than likely you'll get your $ back.

Thanks, made a PayPal claim, no way any bank would work on a Friday afternoon or a weekend in Ireland anyway. The seller has years of good history, almost seems like something happened to him.

@rafalski
sometimes people's ebay accts get hijacked and scammers start auto-listing shit on there. happened to my account once a few years back :(

Now it looks nice but I wonder if there was any money left on the guy's account.
My account shows they "reversed" the transaction but there's still nothing in my balance. 5 days, they say..
