Usually an Oscar-winning film means I won't like it, so I guess it's a list of films to avoid for me.

ukit, you're right. More people forgot their lines or couldn't read the prompter properly. I'm sure of it. Maybe it was just more obvious.
Anyway, a lot of the presenters were nervous, or didn't have any energy at all, therefore making the entire show pretty boring (more than usual) by the end.

I'm glad Ratatouille won, Pixar are an insane studio, saw a documentary about the making of it, the amount of research and work that goes into their films is inspiring. Studios like dreamworks just don't get what story telling is about, that's why they churn out crap all the time.
