The best thing about it, is that you can access any other square no matter where you are

I wasn't a big of a fan of these types of sites. But they executed it perfectly.

god you people are fucking retarded. spend a damned weekend and learn how to program AS3 already.
that site is done well, but its fucking easy to do.
you set up a Camera3D view in papervision, then the entire damned site is nothing but simple Plane objects with a MovieMaterial assigned to each (with whatever image they want to click).
the first image has X,Y,Z all set to (0,0,0) origin. for every subsequent set of images that pops up, all they do is push those new planes' Z axis up by some value (100-300, etc), and make a Tween effect which slides the Camera3D backwards on the Z axis.
this is so fucking basic, and you could literally create it in 2 days from the papervision3d manual. the only troublesome part is mouse interaction, but as you can see, this site bugs the fuck out at times and randomly shit disappears.

Cool idea, but the type is really scary and all deformed and such. I kind of wished they would have floated it above the whole animation, and just move 2 dimensionally based on the rotation.
