to be honest they did give me an extra 10 days of pay and i had just put my xmas bonus check in my pocket before i quit. oopsies heh
its a small company with less than 50 people so in my state they can pretty much do whatever they want. they've snagged people on their way out to their cars before and said empty your desk before you leave

upon offering 2-4 week notice as fair play/courtesy of professional engagement, and they say "EOD"- is that actually even legal? i believe you have a right to a equal to severance in that case? maybe you have that coming, just wanted to raise the point though.
